Scotland the brave!

Macbeth-looking weather in EdinburghHey there!

Yes, yes, I know - I have been away for too long again... trying to do real work, drink a "couple" of pints and finding time to write these things!

Expecting to find William Wallace I went to Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago! It was crazy! The people are great - the weather...
Yes, well lets leave that there! There are loads of great places to go to and I did a bit of sight seeing! But yet again I set out to find the ever present Hard Rock Cafe!

The famous Hard Rock Cafe logoWell I found the place! Since we only went for a day, I decided to make the best of this one place! Lingo again found me at a loss for words... they didn't understand me and I could not, for the life of me, understand what they were babbling on about! But... yes there is always a but - the drinks were good, the lady's FINE and everybody seemed to get along!

Outside the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh
I am still amazed about the amount of tourists from across the world you would get in these places! Its a "world wide" party and its wonderful to meet people from around the world!
Great times!

Have a great one!

Hard Rock casino?

Peter at the pub
It strikes me that I haven't been writing my experiences down! I have been neglecting my readers - I do applogise! I have been out there doing "my thing" though! Being a busy punter and a "use the moment guy" I dont always have a camera! I found the solution... my new Sony Ericsson K800i! Yes this beauty has a 3.2 mega pixel camera! Let the good times Roll!

Here are some of the things I have been up to over the last couple of weeks!

1. I've done the pub's

2. I've got the hangovers to prove my extensive research :-)

3. I have photos...

4. I have become notorious for being the one left to 'close the house down' most days...

Well, I will persevere, wipe the gunk out of my eyes, stop going surfing the Net, and start "working" for the punters out there who deserve to know what the hell I'm doing!

Here's me having a jolly ol' time with mates at another pub
I've been to London and Scotland - did the whole Hard Rock Cafe thing and now I am back to work! The Hard Rock franchise also includes a casino and games section and it was not long before I found myself wishing to be a winner! There are slots games and with the thought of responsible gaming ringing in my ears, I am drawn into a night of excitement and fun!

The London Hard Rock Casino is just a couple of yards from the Piccadilly underground station! Follow the lights and you will find the fun!

Enjoy the picks!

Paris Hard Rock Cafe

So I decided to go to Paris for Christmas...

As a regular punter, I decided to find a place that would be familiar to people from across the World. So I walked into the Hard Rock Cafe in Paris. The Hard Rock is a pub that you can find all over the world. I then and there decided that I would make it my mission to visit as many "Hard Rock Cafes" as I could! This also went a long way to showing everybody the amount of travel I've done!

To be fair, I quite liked the place, and except for the "miss" communications resulting from my BAD French, it is a nice place to party! The food is great, the music lives up to the standard of "Hard Rock" and the people are great! I would definitely recommend this place for a night out on the town! This is a more "upper Class" type of place, so if you want to impress the ladies - there you go!
You have a lot of celebrities coming over and on the walls you can appreciate the rock history! There are loads of things on the walls to make any true Rock fan go mad and each Cafe has its own collection!

There is a shop for merchandise and promotions run on a regular basis!
Enjoy - its a bit hard to find but go online and use search engines to get directions! I had a run in with my bad French, a underground map and getting lost in the worst parts of Paris at night! take my advise and use the internet!

That's it from me, time for a pint at the local pub,
Pete
